Our work is driven by a central challenge: how can we make timely healthcare accessible to anyone, anywhere?
To address this challenge, we integrate biomedical engineering, data science, and AI to extend care beyond hospitals and reach underserved communities. We develop novel home-based, wearable, and implantable medical devices that continuously capture previously inaccessible biomechanical data in everyday life, which AI models translate into actionable health insights.
Our research enables earlier disease detection and continuous monitoring while advancing toward autonomous interventions through medical robotics. Clinical and preclinical studies show our technologies’ potential for cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer. By connecting medical devices, data, and AI and advancing their clinical translation, we aim to deliver data-driven healthcare that is more accessible, personalized, and intelligent, contributing to a future of longer, healthier lives for all.
